American actress Goldie Hawn was born on the 21 November 1945 in Washington, D.C. to Rut Hawn, a musician, and Laura Steinhoff, a dance teacher. She was one of three children having a sister Patti as well a brother Edward who died as a baby. Hawn is of English, German and Hungarian ancestry.

Rise To Fame
From a young age, Goldie Hawn was a dancer, beginning with ballet and tap dancing lessons when she was almost four. In her late teens, she was a dance teacher, and she also worked as a professional dancer.
Hawn had a minor role as a dancer in The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band in 1968. Then in 1969, she had a breakthrough role when she appeared alongside Ingrid Bergman and Walter Matthau in Cactus Flower (1969).
Career
After the success of Cactus Flower (1969), Goldie Hawn went on to forge a successful career including There’s A Girl in My Soup (1970, Shampoo (1975) with Warren Beatty, The Girl from Petrovka (1974), The Sugarland Express (1974), Foul Play (1978). During the 1980s, she produced and starred in Private Benjamin. She also appeared in Best Friends (1982), Protocol (1984), Wildcats (1986), Overboard (1987). In the 1990s Hawn was in Bird on a Wire (1990), Death Becomes Her (1992), Housesitter (1992), The First Wives Club (1996), Everyone Says I Love You (1996) and Out-of-Towners (1999). She was also in Town & Country (2001), The Banger Sisters (2002) and Snatched (2017).

Goldie Hawn’s first husband was Gus Trikonis (m.1968-div.1973). Her second husband was Bill Hudson, and they had two children together: Oliver (b.1979) and Kate (b.1976) who are both actors. She divorced Hudson in 1980. Hawn had a third child, Wyatt (b.1986) with her long-time partner Kurt Russell.
