Childhood And Early Life
Scottish soccer player Paul Lambert was on the 7 August 1969 in Glasgow but was raised in Linwood a town in the Scottish Lowlands.
Rise To Fame
Paul Lambert played soccer as a boy and was a fan of the Celtic Football Club in Glasgow. As a youth, he played for the Linwood Rangers Boys Club (1980).
Career
By 1986 he had turned professional and joined St Mirren (1986-1993). In 1987 his team won the Scottish Cup. He then joined Motherwell Football & Athletic Club (1993-1996). In 1996, Paul joined Germany’s Borussia Dortmund team and was part of the winning team when his club beat Juventus 3-1 in the Champions League final (1996-1997) Paul then returned to Scotland and played for Celtic (1997-2005). Moving into management, he was a player-manager with Livingston for 2005-2006, Wycombe Wanderers (2006-2008), Colchester United (2008-2009), Norwich City (2009-2012), Aston Villa (2012-2015), Blackburn Rovers (2015-2016), Wolverhampton Wanderers (2016-2017) and Stoke City (2018).
On a national level, Paul represented Scotland in the Scottish League XII in 1990, Scotland U21 (1991-1992)m Scotland B (1995-1996) and Scotland (1995-2003).

Paul Lambert has been married to his wife Monica since 1990. The couple has four children.
