One of the most popular is the fetal or fetus position, which means the person curls their legs up to their chest. They lie on their side, almost in a ball position. Associated personality traits include a soft interior covered by a tough exterior, so these people are tough but sensitive.
They may be shy initially, but they will warm up once they get to know you. They are conscientious, organized, and ready to face the day. But, these people are prone to worry and over-thinking.
This is one of the most common sleep positions. More women than men tend to sleep this way. It is considered a comforting position, like hugging yourself at the end of the day.

Another sleep position is the yearner; these people sleep on their sides with their arms out in front of them. They can be cynical, stubborn, and suspicious but are often open-minded and eager.
Also, this sleeping position personality is slow to make up their minds, but they are reluctant to change it once they do. They can be quick to give up. Yearners chase life and their dreams and are eager to take on the day.

Freefall is one of the stomach positions where you lie on your front with your hands around the pillow, and your head turned to one side. These types of people can be blunt, outgoing, and brash. They are nervy but often thin-skinned underneath and don’t like criticism or extreme situations.
They have a feeling of not having caught up during the day. They are sensitive extroverts. This position can increase back, and neck pain, and many people who sleep on their stomachs do not use pillows. But it might help to place a pillow beneath their knees.

Back sleeping is ideal for reducing pain and minimizing skin aging. Side sleeping is next best to reduce pain but may be helped by a pillow between the knees.
